This is a Rigel CT 110 Mandolin.
I don't make even close to enough money, so I need fund-raising options... Preferably ones that don't include selling myself.

I feel like all I ever talk about is music. Which, I can't help, really. Music's my thing. The thing I'd rather be doing other than standing in a boutique 8 hours a day, attempting to pretend I care how shoppers look in certain clothes. Except, I need to live somewhere, and I need to eat, so the boutique's going to have to stay for a bit.
Anyway, I've been thinking of picking up another instrument in my spare time, specifically on nights like these when I can't sleep. The piano, maybe? Or... well, the keyboard as it may be. Since I really doubt my ability to either a) afford or b) fit a piano anywhere in my apartment. Thoughts, though? I already know how to play a guitar, so not that. The flute, too, which my mom had pushed for because I had wanted to learn the violin oooh there's an idea! Anyway, there is no suggestion I won't turn down beside the obvious. I want to be versatile. Like a chameleon. Or something.
I'll try to bring up something not about music next time. Maybe. We'll see!

The video begins with Dakota adjusting her iHolo before finally setting it down in front of her. She takes a moment to make sure it's sitting properly and then she gives a slight wave to her audience and smiles.
Um. Hi. Dakota, here. So I haven't made a video in a while, and definitely not one that involved me singing, but since it's close to two in the morning and I'm still up and I was feeling a bit... She pauses as if trying to find a proper word to add in there, but then she shrugs. ...yeah. It's just been one of those sort of days, you know?
So, anyway. I'm singing this song. It's just a song, really. I mean. It meant something once. Would have meant something once. But it doesn't really anymore. And, anyway, I figure it's a good way to showcase my range, especially when it comes to the higher notes and anyway... She laughs slightly and shakes her head. I'll just get to it and stop rambling, okay?
Dakota takes a deep breath and starts to sing. The song she's chosen sounds a bit like this, only in acapella, and she sings the entire thing. When she's finished, she smiles a bit at the camera. So... that's it. Thanks for listening. Really.
She leans forward to stop recording.
